Panel Members include: Riccardo Bacigalupo, Helena Evans, Heidi Freeman, Paul Elman, Meredith Leece and Emma McCleave. These members have experience across Film, Television and Commercials and their credits include Game of Thrones, Spectre, Fortitude, Kingsman, Before I Go to Sleep and Bridget Jones’ Baby.

Panel One – Meet The Assistants
Moderator: Emma McCleave.
A moderated discussion with a chance to learn about how senior and 1st Assistant Editors started their careers and got their breaks into Assistant Editing.
A Question and Answer section will occur at the end of this section for people to ask questions about the panel’s experiences getting their breaks, any of the jobs they’ve worked on or their aspirations to move forwards…
Session will run for between 40-60 minutes.
Break for 20 minutes.
Part Two - “Doing the Paperwork”
Moderator: Helena Evans
A moderated discussion about roles in a cutting room, the cutting room as a training ground and also the ins and outs of work protocol… What questions to ask when you get a job, who to talk to at work about overtime, what cutting rooms are like as an environment etc.
A Question and Answer section will occur at the end of this section for people to ask questions directly relating to worries or expectations they have about working and working conditions.
Session will run for between 40-60 minutes.
