BECTU and The Rough Assembly present 'Assistant Editing for Beginners'. When you’re at the beginning of your career working as a runner or trainee, it can be difficult to know how to begin learning the skills you’ll need to progress as an assistant editor. While there are plenty of resources designed to enable you to ‘learn Avid’, few of them cover the broader picture of how individual skills fit into a professional workflow.
This workshop is designed to give you a brief overview of the skills you need to know and how they fit into the overall workflow of a professional post-production department.
The panel is hosted by Aideen Johnston (The Watch, Hetty Feather, The Singapore Grip).
