UK Screen Alliance is announcing a further cohort of post-production technical operator apprenticeships starting on March 29th.
The apprenticeship would be suitable for edit assistants working for in-house departments of production companies as well as in post houses.
The development of this level 4 apprenticeship was funded by the HETV Skills Fund.
The off-the-job training consists of 3 x3 week blocks spread over a year and can be funded by the apprenticeship levy or via levy transfers.
Our training partner is London South Bank University. This training can be delivered online, although it was originally planned to be face-to-face; obviously that is not possible currently and the previous cohort was delivered entirely remotely. This opens up the ability for regional participants to join the cohort.
