One of our mentors is a Blackmagic Design Training Partner and has successfully secured external funding to offer some fully funded places on the official DaVinci Resolve Certification Course. These courses are normally valued at £1,000. The courses will be held live, online, during January and February 2021 and are aimed at emerging Colourists who would like to gain their DaVinci Resolve certification to help them progress in their career.

There will be 2 courses offered to U.K. applicants (ie no Nation restrictions). Each course will run with up to 10 participants with an opportunity to network online afterwards.

Who is it for?

This course is aimed at early career Colourists and Graders aged 18 plus, who are seeking to gain DaVinci Resolve End User Certification with the goal of gaining sustainable work in the Film Industry, or those who have transferable skills from another relevant industry such as Games or Graphic Design who want to transfer their career across to being a Film Colourist.

There is an ambition to create more opportunities for a diverse and skilled workforce in the U.K. Film Industry, therefore there is a particularly keenness to offer places to applicants from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to: being from a working class background, female, single parents/carers, ethnically diverse (BAME), disability and LGBT.

Places are limited and will be allocated by online Expression of Interest by Monday 18 January 2021 and online video interview by 22 January 2021.
